Another Beautiful Day In The Desert. Let’s Shoot Some Video!

It was another beautiful day in the Palm Springs area today. And while the exciting final round of the Career Builder PGA Tour golf tournament was in process at PGA West in La Quinta, my husband Bill Dettman grabbed his video gear and headed south on Madison Street to Trilogy at La Quinta to shoot new video footage for our Trilogy video tour.

Real estate sales in Trilogy have been very active this season and as of this writing, we have several Trilogy homes under contract for buyer clients. Several more have sold and closed escrow in the past few months.

Step Into Bill’s Office On The Trilogy Golf Course

Bill spent about four hours on the Trilogy Golf Course getting the new shots. Then he edited the video footage just this afternoon. For any of you interested in video tech, Bill used a Canon EOS C100 Cinema Camera with an assortment of Canon lenses, a Bright Tangerine Matte Box with a number of special camera filters, a SmallHD HD702 monitor, Manfrotto Carbon Fiber tripod with camera slider and a few other toys.

After The Video Shoot It's On To Editing

Bill edits his footage in Final Cut Pro X during which time he also selects music tracks which are licensed for our use. For the final step in producing each of our videos, Bill invites me into his editing bay where I record my narration voiceovers.

What’s New At Andalusia La Quinta

Andalusia’s Impressive New Golf Clubhouse

The new Golf Clubhouse at Andalusia La Quinta is just about complete. In fact, the opening is set for November, right around the annual welcome back celebration event for members.
husband Bill (our Director of Sales And Marketing) and I walked through yesterday, and it is very impressive. The upper level offers 10,000 square feet of space for members to enjoy including luxurious Men’s and Women’s lounges and locker rooms. Dining will be available in both locker rooms as well as along 5,500 square feet of outdoor terrace space.

Amazing Views Of The Coral & Santa Rosa Mountains

The views from both inside and outside Andalusia’s new Clubhouse are some of the best in the desert. The elevated location looks over the driving range of the Rees Jones private golf course with a backdrop of the nearby Coral and Santa Rosa Mountains.

The new Andalusia Clubhouse is located just across from the existing Racquet Club facility where members and homeowners can take advantage of fitness, tennis and a huge resort style pool. Next to the Racquet Club a new wellness center will soon break ground adding even more amenities for Andalusia residents, golf members, and their guests.

After previewing the Andalusia Clubhouse, we drove by several dozen new Andalusia homes under construction. 3 New Model Homes At Andalusia La Quinta

This week our Sheri Dettman & Associates marketing team was on site at Andalusia in La Quinta shooting new video footage featuring Andalusia’s three new model homes. These luxury golf homes are pretty amazing. But I’m getting ahead of myself in how these new homes came to be designed.

Seeking Input For Andalusia's Next Phase of New Homes

Over the past two years the executive team at Andalusia at Coral Mountain in La Quinta has been seeking input from past Andalusia homebuyers and from some of the top Realtors here in the desert, myself included. Andalusia wanted to know what features, designs and styles today’s buyers were looking for as they planned the next phases of new homes.

Fast forward two years later and three of Andalusia’s six new model homes were nearing completion. Not one to wait around for completion though, I’d already been bringing our interested clients to walk these homes during the latest phases of construction.

During a number of these dusty shoe walkthroughs our clients and our team started to get excited about the newly updated designs. It became very apparent that Andalusia had listened and were indeed adding many of the most requested design features and a few surprises.

The Andalusia Brokers Open

Just this week our Sheri Dettman & Associates team was invited to Andalusia’s broker open as these new models were introduced to the La Quinta area Realtor community. I felt right at home because I’d already been spending considerable time in these homes with clients during the past few weeks as the finishing touches were put in place.

The three newest models represent the largest and most luxurious new homes at Andalusia. These updated homes include the Greystone, Santa Rosa and Coralstone floor plans described below.

Days prior to the opening I had started negotiations on one of these new homes for one of our buyer clients. Long story shorter, they’re looking forward to the completion of their new Andalusia luxury home located on a prime view lot.

Three additional model homes with updated floor plans are under construction. These four bedroom homes will range from 3,280 to 3,634 square feet and will start from $1.25M. We’ll have further updates on a regular basis.
